PURPOSE: To stabilize the traveling of motion picture film by feeding the motion picture film while one edge part of the motion picture film from a 1st guide means abuts on a flange.

CONSTITUTION: The motion picture film 4 from a film supply reel abuts on a film guide 1 in an inverted L-shape and abuts on a sound drum 2 in a U-shape, so that it can be taken out on a film takeup reel side. By rotating a height adjusting screw 27 provided in the film guide 1 clockwise or counterclockwise, the fixing position of a film rotation guide 22 is adjusted so that the edge part on the right side of the film 4 may abut on the flange 3 provided on the sound drum 2. Thus, a distance between the flange 22a of the guide 22 and the flange 3 of the drum 2 becomes nearly the same as the width of the film 4 so that recording can be executed. Furthermore, traveling is controlled in a state where specified tension is kept.
