To take the picture of a photographer himself (herself) without necessitating accessories by projecting a convex mirror toward an object from a housing state by external operation.
In a state where the convex mirror 1 projects from an upper surface together with a holding frame 2, a close-up lens 5 is positioned in a state where its optical axis is aligned with the front of a photographing lens by an operation lever 3 and a holding lever 4. When the photographer takes the film unit with a lens in his (her) hand and turns it toward himself (herself), his (her) face is reflected on the mirror 1. When the operation part 3a of the lever 3 slides downward, the lever 4 passes through a dead point on a supporting shaft 6 and turns clockwise until it abuts on a stopper 10 because the tensile force of a tension spring 7 acts thereon. The close-up lens 5 is retreated from the optical path of the photographing lens. The lever 3 turns the frame 2 through a notch and an interlocking pin 2b, and the mirror 1 is embedded in the upper surface together with the frame 2. When the mirror 1 is allowed to project, the operation part 3a is pushed upward.
