Abstract:
To provide a transparent film excellent in phase difference dispersion and advantageous in uniform orientation, and suitable for optical applications.
The film consists of a polymer composed of carboxylic acid residues, phosphonic acid residues represented by the structural formula(2)( wherein, R1 is an organic group; X2 is O, S or Se; and two or more of the phosphonic acid residues differing in R1 and X2 from each other may be included in the polymer ) and dihydric phenolic residues as constituent units.
