Title:
FILM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06138580
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the film excellent in brittleness, transparency and antistatic property by imparting the silver halide emulsion layer on the one surface of the layer consisting of copoly merized polyester and the layer containing specified vanadium pentoxide on the other surface.

CONSTITUTION: The film has the silver halide emulsion layer on the one surface of the layer consisting of copolymerized polester and the one layer containing vanadium pentoxide on the other surface, and the load of the vanadium pentoxide is 0.1-50mg/m2. When the load is below 0.1mg/m2, the film becomes inferior in electrical conductivity, and when the load is above 50mg/m2, the film becomes inferior in transparency and brittleness. The vanadium pentoxide can be applied at every part of the photographic material. That is, the vanadium pentoxide can be incorporated in all of a undercoat layer, a back layer and a hydrophilic coloid layer. The additives such as a surfactant, a mat material, a lubricant and a crosslinking agent excepting a binder are incorporated at the time of applying the vanadium pentoxide at need.
