Abstract:
To obtain a formaldehyde removing filter that ensures a small pressure drop and high removing efficiency.
This filter has a substrate with 1st and 2nd faces and with communicating passes between the 1st and 2nd faces and a prim. amine compd. carried on the substrate. Urea as a formaldehyde treating agent has been carried as thin films 22 comprising urea crystals whose typical grain diameter is sub- micron on fibers 21 arranged in a macroscopically two-dimensional state and a microscopically three-dimensional network state.
