Abstract:

PURPOSE: To manufacture a filter for aquarium fish of superior alga-proofing properties and provide its manufacturing method.

CONSTITUTION: A filter for aquarium fish contains calcium carbonate powder carrying at least one metal compound out of silver and copper, calcium phospheate powder carrying metal compound and a zinc oxide whisker composed of a nucleus section and single crystal bodies with needle-shaped crystals extending from the nucleus to the different quadaxial directions, a flocculant, an acid neutralizer and a triazine compound. Grains 1 of above-main components are inserted between two nonwoven cloths 2, or at least one kind of the components is applied to the nonwoven cloths 2 for immersion. The state of high aquarium admiration value of superior alga-proofing effect can be preserved for a long period of time by the arrangement.
