PURPOSE: To obtain the title filter cloth capable of effectively removing dust and having excellent durability and heat resistance by sticking a glass cloth contg. silica and/or a silica cloth onto a blanket-shaped heat-resistant fiber of alumina and silica.
CONSTITUTION: The blanket-shaped heat-resistant fiber 2 contg. 40W70wt.% alumina and 30W60wt.% silica is used. The glass cloth contg. ≥40wt.% silica and/or the silica cloth 3 are stuck to one or both sides of the heat-resistant fiber 2. Since the large-mesh filter medium 3 for roughly collecting dust is stuck on the surface of the filter medium 2 having excellent dust collecting ability, the dust collecting efficiency is improved as a whole, and clogging is hardly caused. Accordingly, the cloth can be appropriately used for a bag filter because of its high heat resistance.
