PURPOSE: To facilitate the attachment and detachment of a filter press with respect to a filter plate, by providing a cylindrical body from the edge part of the through-hole for feeding a liquid provided to each surface of the filter cloth straddling the filter plate in an extended state and inserting one cylindrical body in the other one to mutually connect both of them in a turned-in state.

CONSTITUTION: Filter cloth 11 is folded double to cover a filter plate 12 from above so as to straddle the same. Next, one connecting cylindrical body 14a among two faced to the liquid feed aperture 15 of the filter plate 12 is passed through said liquid feed aperture 15 to be drawn in the other connecting cylindrical body 14b to mutually overlap both connecting cylindrical bodies. Thereafter, the free opening end edge 16 of the outer cylindrical body 14a is turned in to the inside to be superposed to the inside of the inner connecting cylindrical body 14a and both connecting cylindrical bodies 14a, 14b superposed to each other are subsequently turned in to the inside of the liquid feed aperture 15 by using the base end part of the other connecting cylindrical body 14b as a fold to be extended along the inner peripheral wall of said aperture 15 and both connecting cylindrical bodies are connected with each other.
