PURPOSE: To make sharpness of a frequency characteristic and finite setting of a transient response compatible, by a simple constitution which is combined a dead time element with an integral control element.
CONSTITUTION: A dead time element consists of a delay element D for delaying an input signal applied to an input terminal IN, by a time T, for instance, a delay line without a tap, and differentiators A1 and A2, to which said delay output is provided through changeover switches S11 and S21 so as to form a differential output between said delay output and an input signal, and said differential output is sent to an integral control element. The integral control element consists of a looping circuit L1 which has coupled in a loop 2 integrators I1 and I1' having reset switches S12 and S12' respectively, and a looping circuit L2 which has coupled in a loop integrators I2 and I2' having reset switches S22 and S22' respectively, and said differential output is provided to the looping circuits L1 and L2. This filter device is constituted by combining both these elements.
