Abstract:

To provide a filter unit for an extruder assembly.SOLUTION: A filter unit has a support body (102) which has a hollow cylindrical wall section (104) and a base section (106) connected to the hollow cylindrical wall section, where the support body (102) has a center longitudinal axis (108) and defines an internal space (110); and the hollow cylindrical wall section (104) has a plurality of through openings (112) opened to the internal space (110), and has an outlet opening (100) formed for a molten plastic on a side opposite to the base section (106). The filter unit also has a movable element (116) which substantially moves the molten plastic entering into the internal space (110) in a direction of the center longitudinal axis (108), especially, through the through opening (112), wherein the movable element (116) and the support body (102) are constituted and/or manufactured into a single piece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
