To efficiently filter polluted water contg. suspended matters lighter than water by providing a regulating part extending obliquely downward from the upper end of a partition and forming an inlet with the diameter decreased by the regulating part at the upper part of a compartment.
A partition 3 vertically extending while leaving the upper part of a filter main body 2 formed into a bag with a filter cloth of nonwoven fabric, etc., is provided in the filter 1, and the inside of the main body 2 is horizontally divided by the partitions into plural parallel compartments 4a to 4f. A regulation part 5 is extended obliquely downward from the upper end of each partition 3 to form a polluted water inlet 6 having a small diameter at the upper part of each of the compartments 4a to 4f. Further, the regulating part 5 is chevroned with the upper end of the partiting 3 as the apex, and one piece 5a facing a feed port 9 is long and the other piece 5b is short.
