Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a camera itself compact by effectively making use of the space of the layout of the camera by arranging an optical system such as a range finding optical system or light reading optical system halfway in the optical path of a finder optical system across the optical axis of the finder, and to provide the finder which is free of the parallax between the finder object system and range finding system.
SOLUTION: This finder is equipped with the finder optical system and range finding optical system in addition to a photography optical system, and the finder optical system consists of the objective system 1 with positive refracting power, image inverting optical members 2 and 4 which have plural reflecting surfaces for making erect an image formed by the objective system 1, and an ocular system 5 with positive refracting power; and the optical axis A of the said finder optical system and the optical axis B of the range finding optical system cross each other halfway in the finder optical path.
