To provide a finder device capable of accurately displaying a reference mark such as crossed lines or a crossed lines with a divided angle scale regardless of the state fluctuation of an optical system.
The finder device is equipped with the optical system for forming the image of an image pickup object and having a function for variable power, an image pickup part for acquiring the image of the image pickup object which is formed by the optical system, a specified reference object which is positionally constant to the optical system, a light projecting part having a conversion optical system for converting reference luminous flux emitted from the reference object to luminous flux equivalent to luminous flux emitted from infinity and an integrated optical system integrating the converted reference luminous flux with the image pickup luminous flux made incident on the optical system from the image pickup object, and a reference mark superposing part for superposing the reference mark on the image acquired by the image pickup part in accordance with the image of the reference object detected by the image pickup part.
