To enable a user to conduct the loading and unloading to a finger holder while he observes a fingertip by oneself.
A finger holder 1 comprises a drive part 3 incorporated in a nail art device and a driven part 2 which advances and retreats: the drive part 3 includes a case 9 fixed to a frame 16 of the nail art decice 15, a rotating shaft 10 supported by a bearing to the case, a motor 13 to rotate the rotating shaft 10, and a pinion 12 which is outer-fitted on the rotating shaft 10 through a one-way clutch 11; and the driven part 2 includes a rack part 7 supported by a frame 16 so that it can advance and retreat, a finger holding part integrated with the rack part, a rack 18 engaging the pinion 12, and a spring 20 which always elastically compresses the driven part 2 in the advancing direction. The finger holding part advances and retreats between an outer fingertip loading and unloading position and an inner printing position of the nail art device 15.
