Abstract:
To provide a finger ring for large scissors.SOLUTION: An upper finger ring of a large scissors has a substantially flat actuation surface of a lower part located on a cross section with substantially a right angle to a cutting plane, and is so dimensioned that a metacarpus of a thumb can be substantially perfectly inserted therein from a right side surface. The upper finger ring can move the thumb to a position on a left side surface in orientation substantially parallel to the cutting plane and positions a thenar of a hand by bringing the same into contact with the flat actuation surface, and on the other hand, brings at least a right outside part of the upper finger ring into contact with a palm so that the thenar and palm of the hand can resist a force applied by the finger acting on a lower finger ring, and receives a belly of the thumb in order to position the same so as to get into at least one area of a palmar crease of the hand across a thenar crease of the hand.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
