Abstract:
To provide a fingerprint authentication apparatus capable of easily acquiring biological information.SOLUTION: A fingerprint authentication apparatus comprises a communication interface, a fingerprint sensor, a biological sensor, a storage unit, and a processor. The communication interface communicates with an apparatus. The fingerprint sensor reads a fingerprint. The biological sensor acquires biological information. The storage unit stores feature point information on a fingerprint to be used for fingerprint authentication. The processor collates a user's fingerprint acquired from the fingerprint sensor with the feature point information stored in the storage unit, transmits a result of the collation to the apparatus using the communication interface, and transmits the user's biological information acquired from the biological sensor to the apparatus using the communication interface when the result of the collation is true.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
