Abstract:

To provide an evaluation method of fingerprint resistance capable of evaluating fingerprint resistance quantitatively and with high reproducibility, a method for producing an optical member using the evaluation method, and an optical members with excellent fingerprint resistance.SOLUTION: The evaluation method of fingerprint resistance for evaluating the fingerprint resistance of the surface of an evaluation object using the lightness L* before and after application of the oleic acid diluent as an index, includes the steps of: measuring the lightness L* defined by CIE1976 L*a*b* color system on the surface of the evaluation object; applying oleic acid diluent over the surface of the evaluation object; and after drying the oleic acid diluent, measuring the lightness L* defined by CIE1976 L*a*b* color system; and evaluating lightness L* before and after applying oleic acid diluent as the index.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
