Abstract:

To obtain a treated material which has no scum or other residue, which is nonadhesive and is durable against wear and fingerprints, and which has or does not have a magnetic back layer.

A color photographic material is treated by using a finish rinsing soln. containing a water-soluble or water-dispersible glycol and a mixture of specified surfactants as the essential components. The one surfactant consists of a nonionic polyethoxy nonfluorinated compd. or an anionic nonfluorinated sulfate or sulfonate, and the other surfactant consists of a nonionic or anionic fluorinated compd. Since the finish rinsing soln. especially contains the glycol above described, the soln. can be provided in a concentrated state.
