Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve quick drying and degreasing effects, safety, resistance to surface contamination with microorganisms, and other properties by incorporating a particular siloxane compound, an alcohol, and an antibacterial substance.
CONSTITUTION: Compound selected from straight-chain dimethylpolysiloxanes of formula I (wherein (n) is 0 to 4) having a viscosity at 25°C of not more than 5cst or cyclic polysiloxanes of formula II (wherein (m) is 3 to 5), an antibacterial substance compatible with the siloxane compound and containing at least one of paraben, benzonic acid, and a quaternary ammonium salt, and an alcohol are incorporated into a finishing liquid.
