Abstract:
To provide fire damper that can prevent various problems from occurring when blades enter a fully closed state due to a malfunction of a thermal fuse, and in which maintenance and replacement work of the thermal fuse can be performed without stopping a gas flow (such as exhaust) flowing inside.SOLUTION: A fire damper 100 comprises a plurality of blades 3a, 3b, 4a, and 4b rotatably arranged in a casing 1 having a square cylinder shape, in order to open/close a flow passage 2 set in the casing 1, and a plurality of switches 5 and 6 for opening/closing the plurality of blades 3a, 3b, 4a, and 4b divided into a plurality of groups 3 and 4, in each of the groups 3 and 4. The switch 5 (6) comprises elastic means for biasing the blades 3a and 3b (4a and 4b) in a closing direction, and a thermal fuse 7 (8) for keeping the blades 3a and 3b (4a and 4b) in an open state by retaining a biasing force of the elastic means, and releasing the retaining by operating when a temperature in the casing 1 exceeds a predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
