To provide a fire detection system in a tunnel preventing disrupture of image signals from cameras, even when one place of wiring between an image processing device and the cameras is severed, in regard to a fire detection system in a tunnel carrying out fire detection by shooting situations in the tunnel by a plurality of cameras, and sending shot image signals to an image signal processing device.

The fire detection system in a tunnel has a plurality of camera integrated fire detectors installed in the tunnel, a converter multiplexing image signals outputted by the plurality of camera integrated fire detectors and converting them into optical signals, and optical fiber transferring multiplexed optical image signals outputted by the plurality of camera integrated fire detectors, being optical image signals outputted by the converter.
