Title:
DISPOSAL DEVICE FOR USED INJECTION NEEDLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3187360
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify operation control and prevent the occurrence of an accident by applying a constitution that a braking force in a rotating direction is applied to a hollow shaft having a plurality of penetration parts on the periphery and the hollow shaft is rotated on the rotation of a driven member, while making a tip part clamping engagement tooth member for an injection needle being passed through and held with the penetration parts.
SOLUTION: A used injection needle unit is inserted into the needle insertion member 2 of a body case 1 from the side of a needle. In this insertion state, an injector is slightly pushed down. As a result, a power source 19 is actuated with the needle insertion member 2 interlocked with a start switch. Then, a driven member 8 rotates and a rotary hollow shaft 7 does not rotate, due to exposure to the resistance force of a rotation braking means A. At this process, the journalled ends of engagement tooth members 10 and so forth move in rotating directions, and the engagement end parts 10a thereof approach to each other from a lateral through-hole part 7c and come to be engaged with a needle tip part. Consequently, the engagement end parts 10a rotate together with the driven member 8, thereby rotating the tip part of the separation thereof from a injector. According to this construction, operation can be simplified and trouble is lessened.
