The extinction nozzle for coal bunker is mounted on a coal bunker wall 14 and a mushroom-shaped cover 16 is provided at an opening part 13 of the nozzle body 11, so that, when the water pressure of the extinction water is applied to the nozzle body 11 which is to spray the extinction water to the coal reserved in the coal bunker 15, the cover automatically opens to spray the extinction water from the whole periphery of the opening part 13 and automatically closes when no spraying is done to reduce infiltration of the coal into the nozzle body 11.
