To enable a user to operate a fire extinguishing apparatus with an operation lever connected to an extinguishing agent ejection nozzle positioned at a required position of a construction machine via piping, while sitting, upon emergency by placing the apparatus at a side of a front part of a cabin of the machine.
In the case of application to a hydraulic shovel, two fire extinguishers 12 are installed at a foward position of an operation console through a bracket having an L-shaped section and being fixed to a floor. In this case, each extinguisher 12 are disposed so that an operation lever 12a provided at an upper part thereof may face an operator. Then, a tube 13 is connected to an extinguishing agent ejection port of the fire extinguisher 12 and fixed so that it may position along a partitioning wall of a partitioned room such as an engine room. The tube 13 has a branch path formed on the way thereof to enable the agent to be ejected to an injection pump 9, fuel filter 10, main pump 5 and the like.
