This fire extinguisher installation structure 100 for a vehicle for installing the fire extinguisher inside a cabin includes: a floor panel 102; a cross member 106 installed on the in-vehicle side of the floor panel 102 over the vehicle width direction; a grip part 110 having an almost nearly C shape, installed near the vehicle rear of the cross member 106 on the floor panel in an attitude wherein the opening 116 of the nearly C shape is directed upward nearly parallel with the cross member 106 in a view from above a vehicle, and gripping a body 108 of the fire extinguisher 104 from below and the vehicle width direction; and a support part 114 installed in the vehicle rear of the grip part 110 on the floor panel nearly parallel with the grip part 110 in a view from above the vehicle, and supporting a neck part 112 of the fire extinguisher 104 from below.
