PURPOSE: To provide a fire-extinguisher managing system for synthetically managing a plurality of fire-extinguisher so as to precisely inform a person engaged in fire-extinguishing activity as soon as possible about the positions where the fire-extinguisher are present, the presence of a fire-extinguisher, the kinds of fire-extinguisher, the terms of validity for fire-extinguisher and the like upon occurrence of an emergency such as a fire, thereby it is possible to realize appropriate and effective fire-extinguishing activity.

CONSTITUTION: Means for identifying the presence of fire-extinguisher at one or more of positions where fire-extinguisher 4 are present, means for registering a kind of a fire-extinguisher, means for registering a term of validity for a fire-extinguisher, extinguisher identifying means 5, signal transmitting means 3 for transmitting data to a central managing device for managing data from the above-mentioned means, and a central managing means 2 for centrally managing data concerning the fire-extinguisher.
