To provide a fire extinguisher capable of efficiently extinguishing a fire by applying a fire extinguishing agent to flames without waste.
The fire extinguisher comprises a container 1 filled with the fire extinguishing agent, a hose 2 connected to the container 1, and nozzles for releasing the fire extinguishing agent. A flat plate part 5 having a flow path 6 within is connected to the distal end of the hose, and a plurality of nozzles 8 are connected to the flow path 6 of the flat plate part 5. A main valve 3 to be manually opened/closed is disposed in the middle of the hose 2, and a flame-retardant strap-like body 10 is attached to a nozzle surface of the flat plate part 5 to which the nozzles 8 are connected. The fire is extinguished by beating the fire flames with the flat plate part 5.
