Abstract:
To have both merits of a pressure accumulating type fire extinguisher and a pressurized type fire extinguisher, eliminate both demerits, and highly exert performances and functions of fine nitrogen spray fire extinguishment by using both features.SOLUTION: A body container 12 of a fire extinguisher 10 stores a small amount of water 20 and is filled with a low-pressure nitrogen gas 18, while a high-pressure nitrogen gas is sealed in a gas container 16 disposed inside the body container 12. A fine spray nozzle mechanism provided at a lid member 14 of the body container 12, opens a seal 48 of the body container 12 by a lever operation to send the water 20 to the nozzle body 26 by pressurization of the low-pressure nitrogen gas 18, simultaneously opens the gas container 16 by the lever operation to send the high-pressure nitrogen gas to the nozzle body 26, and discharges fine nitrogen spray that is formed by microparticulation of the water by the nitrogen gas, from a discharge outlet 32, so as to extinguish a fire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
