PURPOSE: To process color signals in the flame area of a fire source generating ultraviolet rays and enable confirmation to be executed with naked eyes, by having each memory of R(red), G(green), and B(blue) reloaded in order by map switching signal from a control section, and by setting a memory section for transmitting the monitor signal of a reloaded color information in the flame area.
CONSTITUTION: In a flame area detecting section 2, flame image signal (a), the image of which is taken by a monitoring camera 1 is taken by receiving the feed of taking-in starting signal (b) from a control section 3, and the flame image signal (a) is analog/ digital-converted, and after that, a flame area is set, and in a specified format, a flame area signal (c) is transmitted to the control section 3. By the control section 3, from the flame area signal (c), a color information is discriminated, and map switching signal (d) for reloading the color information according to the specified format is transmitted to a memory section 4. The internal section of the memory section 4 is provided with the memories of a R-layer memory 41, a G-layer memory 42, and a B-layer memory 43, and by the map switching signal (d) of the color information including the flame area fed from the control section 3, the color information is reloaded in order, and the color information on the whole screen surface is set as monitor signal (e) and is transmitted to a monitor for monitoring.
