Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge a foaming water solution promptly after the outbreak of fire by draining extra water at the outbreak of fire to shorten the discharge time of water from a fire extinguishing head.
SOLUTION: In this fire extinguishing equipment comprising a mixer 14 and an undiluted solution tank 16 storing a foaming undiluted solution, a prevention valve 17 is provided between the mixer and the undiluted solution tank to control so that the foaming undiluted solution does not flow out of the undiluted solution tank when no fire breaks out. Secondary side piping 27 of a water flow detector 10 is provided with a closed type fire extinguishing head 28, and the piping is filled with water when monitoring. In case of a fire, water is discharged from the fire extinguishing head, and then the foaming water solution is discharged. Primary piping 11 of the water flow detector is provided with a normally closed remote opening valve 36 opened for a fixed time in case of the fire, to drain water in the piping. Water filled in the piping is replaced with the foaming water solution.
