Abstract:
To provide firefighting equipment in which a relief mechanism from secondary piping to primary piping is installed, and, in a case of a fire, a pump is started without delay.SOLUTION: Firefighting equipment includes: a pump P for sending water of a water source W to piping; a water flow detection device 3 connected to the pump P by piping; a sprinkler head S connected to secondary piping 2 of the water flow detection device 3; and a pump starting switch 5 installed to primary piping 1 of the water flow detection device 3. The water flow detection device 3 is provided in a plurality of numbers for each protection area, and the primary piping 1 continues to the pump P. A relief valve 4 installed on bypass piping that bypasses the primary side and the secondary side of the water flow detection device 3 is opened when a difference in pressure between the primary side and the secondary side is a predetermined value or more. A motor-operated valve 6 is installed on the primary piping 1 branched for each protection area. When the water flow detection device 3 in a protection area where a fire occurs is operated, the motor-operated valves 6 in the other protection areas are closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
