Abstract:
To provide a fire extinguishing method in which large-scale fire and forest fire can be extinguished speedily.SOLUTION: A fire extinguishing method is provided for extinguishing fire under cooperation between a first flying body (master unit) capable of performing an autonomous flight toward a target point and multiple second flying bodies (slave units) including a function of sensing the circumference to enable the autonomous flight. The fire extinguishing method has the steps of: imparting the position information of a target point to the first flying body; enabling the first flying body imparted with the position information of the target point to fly toward the target point while transmitting the self-position information; making the multiple second flying bodies fly toward the point shown by the position information received from the first flying body while taking a distance above a certain level to each other; transmitting a command of making the multiple second flying bodies drop a loading fire extinguisher after the first flying body arrives at the target point; and making the first flying body and the multiple second flying bodies return to the start point after the throwing down of the fire extinguisher by the multiple second flying bodies.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
