To provide a fire fighting nozzle that allows fluid circulating between a valve body and a spout to be surely sealed and prevents fastening torque during shut-off operation from becoming heavy.
The fire fighting nozzle comprises: an inner frame body 1; an outer frame body 2 externally inserted so as to be axially screwed forward in front of the inner frame body 1 and having a spout opened to the front; and a nozzle piece 3 that is held and fixed to the center in a cylinder hole of the inner frame body 1, extends to the axial front, and also, has a valve body 32 whose diameter is expanded at the front in the extending direction. The nozzle piece 3 includes: a shaft base 33 held and fixed to the center in the inner frame body 1; a shaft column 31 mounted to the front of the shaft base 33 and extending along in the axial direction; and the valve body 32 mounted freely rotatably and slidably on the outer periphery of the shaft column 31 and composed of an expanded diameter body. When fluid is shut-off, a part of a screw-rotated spout of the outer frame body 2 is in contact with the rear part or the side part of the valve body 32 and the valve body and the part of the spout are put into a press-fitted state with rotational sliding of the valve body 32 with respect to the shaft column 31.
