To provide a fire hydrant apparatus to which a pump driving switch that turns on interlocking with a fire hydrant valve can be attached, despite the type, the shape or the like of the fire hydrant valve.

In the fire hydrant apparatus, in a chassis of the fire hydrant, a fire hose with a fire nozzle connected to its one end is stored and the fire hydrant valve is installed, and a primary side of the fire hydrant valve is connected to a pipe through which fire extinguishing water is sent from a water tank by a water pump, and a secondary side of the fire hydrant valve is connected to the other side of the fire hose. The pump driving switch connected electrically to the water pump is provided on the secondary side of the fire hydrant valve, and the driving switch turns on and drives the water pump when the fire hydrant valve opens.
