Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire hydrant apparatus and fire extinguisher box, when the fire hydrant apparatus is installed with it buried in a watchman's passage, allowing firemen to perform quick fire fighting without any hindrance in taking out a fire hose and a fire extinguisher.SOLUTION: A fire hydrant apparatus 1 according to the present invention is installed in an installation space 87 provided at a watchman's passage 83 that is constructed on a shoulder of a roadway 85 in a tunnel. The fire hydrant apparatus includes a housing 7 including: a bottomed frame-shaped body part 11 having a hose storage part 5 for storing a hose 3 and an opened upper face; and a top board 9 for covering the upper-face opening of the body part 11. The top board 9 is used as a road surface of the watchman's passage 83, and formed into an openable/closable lid member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
