Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire hydrant device which enables quick fire-fighting activities without causing trouble in operating an operation lever for opening/closing a fire hydrant valve even in a case where the fire hydrant device is installed in a buried manner into an observer's passage.SOLUTION: A fire hydrant device 1 of the present invention includes: a box-like body 11 having a hose storing part 5 into which a wound hose 3 is stored in a laid manner, the body having an opening on an upper surface; a top plate part 13 covering the upper opening of the body 11; and operation levers 14. 15 for opening/closing a fire hydrant valve. The top plate part 13 is provided so as to be opened/closed, and the operation levers 14, 15 are provided on both sides of the hose storing part 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
