To provide a fire hydrant device having good operability and safety.
This hydrant device used for fire extinguishing in a tunnel and so on is composed of a housing 1, a door 2 attached to it 90° rotatably in the front tilting direction, a hydrant 3 attached to the housing 1, to which a water supply source is connected, a main valve 4, a fixed flow valve 5, a rotatable joint 6, a connection pipe 7, a rotating table 8, a rotatable reel 9, a 30-m long hose 10 connected to the connection pipe 7 and wound around the reel 9, and a nozzle 11 combined with the head end of the hose 10. By the fixed flow valve 5, even when the primary pressure in the upstream of the valve 5 is changed or the secondary pressure in the downstream thereof is changed due to the difference of hose resistance because of the difference in the length of the hose 10 wound out, the flow is fixed constantly to make the pressure immediately before the nozzle 11 is order to improve the operability and ensure superior safety.
