Abstract:
To allow inspection of important functions of a fire hydrant device comprising a hydrant valve and a remote operation mechanism in a remote and automatic manner, reduce power consumption in inspection and surely detect abnormality of an inspection object device.SOLUTION: In automatic inspection, by opening control of a pilot motor valve 52, water for fire fighting is supplied to a cylinder chamber 94 of an inspection selector valve 50 to move a valve body 86 by a piston 96, and thereby switch a position of the valve body from a drainage switching position for communicating an inflow hole 80 and an outflow hole 82 and separating the inflow hole 80 and an exhaust hole 84, to a water discharge switching position for separating the inflow hole 80 and the outflow hole 82 and communicating the inflow hole 80 and the exhaust hole 82. Then, the water for fire fighting is supplied from a control port P2 through an in-line check valve 60 to a water pressure actuator 62 to drive a hydrant valve 46 to open, the water for fire fighting is flowed to a water discharge hole 58 through the inspection selector valve 50, and then water discharge pressure is measured by a pressure sensor 68 for determining the pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
