To provide a fire protection sealing device for the meeting stile section of a double swing door capable of surely moving a shielding member to a position where the gap between the meeting stile surfaces of the double wing door can be completely shielded when the temperature is raised by fire.
A guide groove 8 extending in the vertical direction is formed in at least one of the meeting stile surfaces of double swing doors 3a, 3b. The shielding member 15 longer in the vertical direction and having heat resistance which is assembled in the guide groove is supported movably toward the meeting stile of the other door. The shielding member 15 is biased toward the closed end of the guide groove 8 by a first elastic member 23. A second elastic member 24 made of a shape memory alloy is installed to press and move the shielding member 15 against the elasticity of the first elastic member 23 to the position where the gap between the meeting stile surfaces of the double swing doors by restoring the shape when the ambient temperature reaches the transformation point of the shape memory alloy. A band plate extending long in the vertical direction is used as the shielding member 15.
