Abstract:
PURPOSE: To maintain the proper fire resistive function of an aluminum or aluminum alloy frame member and use the frame member for a specific purpose as well including an application to an apartment house, regarding a building unit having a part of frame members made of steel and others made of aluminum or aluminum alloy.
CONSTITUTION: A single layer of a fire resistive member 35 is laid on the external surface of a steel column 4 in building units 2A to 2D. Also, a fire resistive coat 10 as the undermost layer is applied to the surface of each aluminum or aluminum alloy upper beam 5, and soft fire resistive materials 11 and 13, and 11' and 13' are laid thereon for forming a double-layer fire resistive cover.
