Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fire-retardant composite material having a novel structure and especially suitable as an exterior building material.
CONSTITUTION: A fire-retardant composite material is constituted of a core sheet 13 and the metal sheets 14, 14' bonded to both surfaces thereof and the core sheet 13 consists of a foamed resin layer containing 20-80wt.% of an inorg. filler and having foaming magnification of 1.1-3.0 times and the non-foamed resin layers laminated to both surfaces thereof. The heat of combustion of the core sheet 13 is 6000BTU/ft2 or less.
