Abstract:

PURPOSE: To maintain the function of a cable for a specified time even when it is exposed to fire flames by winding a composite sheet having metal foil on the surface under a heat-foaming fireproof not wire the metal foil directed out, and winding the fireproof net on it.

CONSTITUTION: A fireproof net 1 is composed by applying heat-foaming paint 4 on a net main body 3 woven of fire-resistant yarn, that is glass fiber yarn, for example. In the meanwhile, aluminum foil 6 is laminated on one surface of felt of nonwoven fabric 5 comprising carbon fibers or heat-resistant fibers to form a composite sheet 2. The composite sheet 2 is wound around a combustible cable 7, with the aluminum foil 6 on the outer side, and the fireproof net 1 is disposed on the outer side of it. When the cable is exposed to fire flames, the heat-foaming paint 4 of the fireproof net 1 foams, thereby temperature rise and combustion of the cable 7 can be restricted by its heat resistance, and heat reflection property and flame shielding property of the aluminum foil 6.
