Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a fireproof nonhalogenous putty composition made resistant to softening, peeling off, etc., in a fire namely made excellent in shape stability without detriment to the flame retardancy and application workability as a putty.

CONSTITUTION: The composition is one comprising 100 pts.wt. halogen-free liquid polymer, 50-200 pts.wt. fine silicone resin powder, 150-400 pts.wt. metal hydrate, and suitable amounts of assistants such as a plasticizer, an and a fiber, wherein the total amount of the fine silicone resin powder and the metal hydrate is 500 pts.wt. or below.
