Title:
FIRING EQUIPMENT AND FACILITY OPERATION PROCESS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007160306
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To suppress particulate emission from coal firing industrial facilities such as multi-purpose boilers with pulverized coal.
The combustion of a fuel (such as coals) produces an exhaust stream containing particles. The flow passes through a pulse combustion agglomerator 120. The agglomerator cyclically operates by introducing the fuel and a supplied matter of oxidizing agent into at least one duct to start the combustion of the supplied matter. The flow of the particles are exposed to the combustion to produce a shock wave that causes the particles to be partially agglomerated. The flow passes through a particle removal device 104 and is discharged.
