To provide a fishing device equipped with a battery for feeding a power, arranged so as not to obstruct.
The fishing device 10 is equipped with a fishing reel 14 and the battery 16 from which the power can be fed to the fishing reel 14. The fishing reel 14 is attached to a rod 12 through an attaching leg part 14a installed in a reel body 18, and enables a fishline t to be wound on a spool 20 supported by the reel body 12 by both of the manual operation by the rotation of a handle 22 arranged at the side part of the attaching leg part 14a and the electrically driving operation by the fed power from an external power source. The battery 16 is arranged at the position at the front side of a handle shaft 22b for transmitting the rotation of the handle to a driving mechanism in the reel body 18 and at the handle 22 side from the attaching leg part 14a, prevented from the interference with the handle 22.
