PURPOSE: To provide a fishing net having improved abrasion resistance and flexural fatigue resistance and made of especially an organic high-tenacity fiber treated with an abrasion resistance improver composed mainly of a polyurethane, a PE oxide, a fluororesin and an ethylene urea compound.
CONSTITUTION: The objective fishing net is produced by treating a net with an abrasion resistance improver composed mainly of (A) preferably 34-70wt.% of a polyurethane (preferably a polymer composed of a polycarbonate polyol and an aliphatic polyisocyanate), (B) preferably 24-60wt.% of a PE oxide (preferably having a molecular weight of 1,000-7,000), (C) preferably 3-20 wt.% of a fluororesin (preferably tetrafluoroethylene polymer, trifluorochloroethylene polymer, etc.) and (D) preferably 3-15 wt.% of an ethylene urea compound [preferably a compound of formula (R is aromatic or aliphatic hydrocarbon group; (n) is 0-2; the terminal group is OH when(n)is 0)].
