Abstract:
To provide a fishing rod using a metallic pipe with an evenly tapered shape as a tip rod.
A fishing rod includes; a tip part in which a metallic pipe material extends on a straight axis from the tip of the fishing rod, and which has a joining point having a hollow structure at least on the butt side of the fishing rod; and a tip holding part, formed of a fiber-reinforced resin material in a hollow structure or a solid structure, and having at its tip a connection portion which is to be fitted into the joining point.
