PURPOSE: To obtain a shaking out-type fishing rod easy in drawing out each jointing component and also easy to house, by providing a specific air passage at a pipe joint or tail stopper in between the end fitment and tail stopper at the rear end of a fishing rod.

CONSTITUTION: One end of a pipe joint 7 in between the end fitment 5 and the tail stopper 6 at the rear end 11 of a fishing rod 1 is firmly screwed to the end fitment. The tail stopper screwed to the other end, such an air passage 8 as to make the inside of the rod communicate with the outside air on turning the tail stopper in a countertightening manner is provided at the pipe joint or the tail stopper in between the end fitment and the tail stopper.
