Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repair tines, to decrease a replacement cost of tines, to prevent reduction in commercial value of shellfish and to improve others.
SOLUTION: In this fishing tool for catching scallops consisting of a tine part 1 for raising and stirring sand and dirt on the bottom of the sea and a bag net part 2 for catching shellfishes, the grip side of a tine arm is fixed through a flexible coupling 6 to a frame 5 and variation in the position at the tip of the tine arm is facilitated by the bending of the flexible coupling 6. A coil spring joint is suitable as the flexible coupling 6.
