PURPOSE: To make it possible to correspond to a fishway when variations in the water level of a river are increased and to facilitate cost reduction and maintenance.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of intervals 2-5 are provided in the bottom 1A of a fishway channel 1 at optional intervals in the direction of a river and, at the same time, a fixed overflow weir 6 provided in the lowest stream. Float type lift up and down overflow gates 8 and 9 are provided to upper stream sides of partition walls 2 and 3, float type forward inclining and rolling overflow gates 10 and 11 are provided in the upper surfaces 4a and 5A of partition walls 4 and 5, and a dust removing bar screen 16 such as fish trap, etc., is provided in the upper stream side of the uppermost stream side.
